Il progetto è dedicato allo sviluppo di sistemi di produzione additiva (sistemi di additive manufacturing) “intelligenti”, ovvero in grado di identificare e predire l‘insorgenza di problemi nel corso dell’esecuzione del processo di produzione ed eventualmente implementare le necessarie azioni correttive. Il progetto prevede la progettazione di una macchina additive basata sulla tecnologia FDM (Fused Deposition Modelling) per materiali polimerici, con la funzione di piattaforma aperta di ricerca, ovvero una piattaforma prototipale su cui differenti tecnologie di sensorizzazione e analisi dei dati possono essere progettate, implementate e testate.
MAMA ha avuto inizio a fine 2018 e proseguirà nel 2019.
