The Idea-Re team deals with research activities concerning the production of energy from renewable sources.
The main activities concerned the evaluation of the resource in the context of wind energy, the simulation of turbine production through the use of advanced CFD techniques, the search for the optimization of wind farm production, from the standpoint of the identification of the best operating conditions through monitoring techniques and aeroelastic simulation as well as condition monitoring and wind tunnel experimentation.
Further research activities concerned the production of biomass energy, with the study of innovative methodologies for photobioreaction and experimental characterization of biological stability.
Idea-Re is able to provide research and support activities in every aspect concerning the frontier of renewable energies, both for the study of innovative production methods and for the evaluation, using algorithms derived from mathematical decision-making methods, of the most efficient and convenient solutions for complex installations.
