Event: Quantum Computing in the Real World – Industrial Applications, Art, and Education

2025 has been designated the International Year of Quantum Science and Technology, highlighting the growing importance that theories and applications in this field will have on society in the near future.

In this context, UNIPG and Idea-Re S.r.l. are pleased to invite you to an event dedicated to Quantum Computing, showcasing how research activities and related applications in this area can form the foundation of an innovative ecosystem for local communities and businesses.

The event is structured into three thematic areas through installations and demonstrators, illustrating the fundamental principles, academic and industrial applications, as well as artistic projects involving quantum music and painting. Each area explores and deepens the potential of these emerging technologies and offers a unique opportunity for direct engagement with field experts, highlighting the tangible impact and future promise of quantum technologies in society.

To conclude the day, Prof. Karl Jansen from the Center for Quantum Technologies and Applications, DESY – Berlin, will present the seminar “How Quantum Technologies are Changing Society and Industry”, offering an in-depth analysis of the social and industrial implications of the quantum revolution.

The event will close with an informal networking opportunity designed to foster professional exchanges and new collaborations.
