We are pleased to announce that, following approval at the General Assembly on March 23, 2026, Idea-Re has been officially admitted as an affiliated member of the Italian Quantum Alliance (AQI).
AQI is the national initiative that brings together universities, research institutions, industries, and public bodies with the aim of creating a cohesive and competitive ecosystem in the field of quantum technologies, in line with the Italian Strategy for Quantum Science and Technology and the broader European Quantum Strategy.
This membership represents an important recognition of Idea-Re’s path in the field of Quantum Computing and strengthens our commitment to actively contributing to the development of quantum technologies in Italy. Being part of this network means collaborating with some of the most prestigious research institutions in the country, participating in joint strategic initiatives, and contributing to the development of the skills needed to tackle future technological challenges.
Quantum Computing has been at the core of Idea-Re’s research and development activities for years. Our admission to AQI will allow us to further strengthen the synergies between the research and industrial sectors, in line with our mission as a Technology Transfer Center 4.0.
