Additive manufacturing (AM) is a production method that, using different technologies, leads to the creation of objects (components, semi-finished products or finished products) by generating and adding successive layers of material.
The major advantages of AM, compared to traditional production methods, include reduced implementation times, considerable savings related to materials and, in general, reduction of production costs.
