Additive Manufacturing

Idea-Re is a reference point for all services related to R&D activities.

Additive manufacturing (AM) is a production method that, using different technologies, leads to the creation of objects (components, semi-finished products or finished products) by generating and adding successive layers of material.

The major advantages of AM, compared to traditional production methods, include reduced implementation times, considerable savings related to materials and, in general, reduction of production costs.

Idea-Re carries out research on Additive Manufacturing (project OS4.0), and offers a wide range of skills both as regards the types of machinery and printing innovation: in this regard, partnership projects have been started with the University of Perugia and the University of Messina

Idea-Re supports companies in the emergence of R&D activities, in their analysis, formalization and enhancement, also in relation to specific national and European subsidizing disciplines.
