Idea-Re works in collaboration with research organizations and university departments, carrying out activities aimed at obtaining knowledge, disseminating and transferring it.

Idea-Re produces research and coordinates multidisciplinary research groups  on multiple fundamental research topics, ranging from nanotechnologies to the analysis of multi-objective decision processes, the use of artificial intelligence and research on cutting-edge technologies for power production.
