Quantum Computing in the Real World: Industrial Applications, Art and Education

Description

2025 is the International Year of Quantum Science and Technology, underlining the importance that theories and applications in this field will have on society in the near future. In this context, UNIPG and Idea-Re S.r.l. are pleased to invite you to an event dedicated to Quantum Computing, highlighting how research activities in this sector and the resulting applications can form the nucleus of an innovative ecosystem for the territory and businesses. The event is structured around three thematic areas through installations and demonstrators, illustrating the fundamental principles, academic-industrial applications and artistic projects in quantum music and painting. Each area explores and deepens the potential of new technologies and represents an opportunity for direct exchange with sector experts, demonstrating the concrete impact and future potential of these emerging technologies in society. Closing the day, Prof. Karl Jansen of the Center for Quantum Technologies and Applications, DESY - Berlin, will present the seminar "How Quantum Technologies are Changing Society and Industry", offering an in-depth analysis of the social and industrial implications of the quantum revolution. This will be followed by a networking opportunity aimed at fostering professional exchanges and new collaborations.
