PURPOSES AND LEGAL BASIS OF PROCESSING

Browsing data is collected and processed to carry out all activities relating to the management and administration of the Website, including IT security management. It may also be used to obtain anonymous statistical information on the use of the Website and to check that it is working properly. Browsing data also includes cookies. The prior express consent of the User is not required for the processing of functional and/or necessary cookies, and Users can restrict or block these cookies at any time through their browser settings. However, if Users choose to refuse these cookies, some services on the Website may not display correctly or may not work as well as they should. In particular, the operations that identify the User and maintain that identification during the session may become more complex and less secure. Finally, by clicking "Reject", only the functional cookies necessary for the normal use of the Website will be processed and stored, and no other types of cookies will be activated.

Personal data provided voluntarily by Users may be collected and processed for the following purpose:

to respond to explicit requests from the data subject. The processing will be based on the request submitted by the data subject and, therefore, on the need to take pre-contractual steps at their request, or on the Controller's legitimate interest in responding to their request.

DATA TRANSFERS

The data subject's personal data is stored in paper, electronic and online archives located in EU countries and will therefore not be transferred outside the European Union. Data collected through the Website is generally not disclosed to third parties, except in response to a lawful request from the judicial authorities and only in the cases provided for by law.

AUTHORISED PERSONS

The data may be processed by the Controller's employees responsible for pursuing the purposes stated above, who have been expressly authorised to process the data and have received appropriate operating instructions from the Controller. In addition, for security checks or Website optimisation, the data may be disclosed to external companies that provide Idea-Re S.r.l. with Website maintenance and development services and IT services in general, and that Idea-Re S.r.l. has appointed as Data Processors.

DATA RETENTION PERIOD

The data is processed only for as long as strictly necessary to achieve the purposes stated above, and in any case for no longer than 10 years. Specifically, personal data will be retained by Idea-Re S.r.l. as follows: data processed for the administration and management of the Website (Users' browsing data) will be kept for 3 days; data processed to respond to explicit requests from the User will be kept for as long as necessary to follow up on the request and, unless a Contract is signed between the Parties, will be deleted 60 days after any questions raised by the User have been resolved. In the event of legal proceedings, the data will be retained for the entire duration of the proceedings, until the time limits for filing an appeal have expired. Once these retention periods have ended, the data will be destroyed, deleted or anonymised, in line with technical deletion and backup procedures.

SECURITY OF PROCESSING (Art. 32 GDPR)

The Controller implements appropriate technical, administrative and physical security measures to protect personal information from unauthorised access, use and disclosure, in order to preserve the confidentiality, integrity and availability of data subjects' personal data, and requires its external suppliers and internal authorised persons to adopt similar security measures. Specific notices are made available through links or displayed on the Website's pages for particular services requested.
