DRAIV - Driving Generative AI Virtual Assistant
Intelligent and integrated systems to optimise emissions and environmental services in sustainable mobility.
Abstract
DRAIV focuses on the development of an AI-based virtual driving assistant, capable of analysing driving style and providing targeted suggestions to reduce emissions. Through the integration of advanced language models and deep learning algorithms, the project aims to improve road safety and promote more responsible and sustainable driving behaviour.

Project objectives
The main objective is to introduce elements of "advanced intelligence" into the sustainable mobility sector. In particular, the project intends to enable the partners to develop systems capable of significantly improving their product and service offering in their respective specialist fields. The synergies between the partners will make it possible to leverage each party's expertise and to test the outputs in a more complete and comprehensive manner, thanks to the interconnections between results and specific roles.
Partnership
The approach is based on the use of advanced language models (LLM) and deep learning algorithms for driving style analysis. The system is designed to provide personalised real-time suggestions, with the aim of reducing emissions, improving road safety and incentivising more responsible driving behaviour.
Source of funding
Collaborative Research and Development project co-funded by the POR FESR 2021-2027 O.S. 1.1 Action 1.1.2 - Call in support of Industrial Research and Experimental Development projects - Year 2023, Umbria Region.
Expected impacts and results
The project aims to significantly improve the product and service offering in the sustainable mobility sector. Among the main expected outcomes are:
- reduction of emissions through more conscious driving behaviour,
- improvement of road safety,
- promotion of more sustainable and less polluting mobility.
