Analysis of the effects of uncertainties on agrometeorological models
Monte Carlo simulation to assess the impact of uncertainty in agrometeorological models.
Abstract
The paper analyzes how uncertainties in weather data affect the results of an agrometeorological model used to simulate primary infections of grapevine downy mildew. Through a Monte Carlo simulation applied to hourly temperature, humidity and rainfall data, the study quantifies the model's robustness and derives the probability of infection events as an additional output.
